The accumulated experience educates us as for the improvements to bring to our show, while working in a constant concerns of innovation. Thus you will be able to find numbers of them on January 19th and 20th, 2008
Richement Bière wants to distinguish itself from traditional beer festivals. We want to promote the brewery culture and to encourage the public to be interested in it. In order to do that, we propose a cultural space intagrated into the festival, in which we will find:
- The 3 Lorraine brewery museums of Stenay, Ville sur Illon and St Nicolas de Port.
- Collectors.
- Demonstrations of making of bread with barley malt.
- A prevention area which aim is to increase public awareness ofthe detrimental effect of alcohol.
- Conferences led by brewery specialists.
- An exhibition over " 150 years of beer in Meurthe and Moselle ",
created by MR PHILIPPE VOLUER, historian, writer and
specialist of the brewery world.
- A brewery bookshop space with continually growing success.
- Ancient bar-games.
- Old tools of breweries.
- A pastrycook as well as a chocolate maker stiring beer in their goods.
- A free cultural quiz where each will be able to try to win while answering a series of questions on the beer.
-Activities : besides our tombola, we are going to welcome several brotherhoods among which the brotherhood of the beer of Jeanlain, the guild of Eswards Cervoisiers and probably others else.
-Restoration : a traditional catering area (1500 meals served in 2006) as well as a fast-food stand will be at the disposal of the public.
-Brewers : we will welcome about thirty breweries coming mainly from France and Belgium but also of Germany and Luxembourg. And we hope the coming of an Italian brewer.
RICHEMENT BIERE is such a very close family. Since 1998, about a hundred of volunteers from our region, from different generations, take an active part in the show. The younger is 9 years old, and the older is 85 years old ! Thay instil in RICHEMENT BIERE a friendly and dynamic atmosphere which delights exhibitors and visitors.
We organise also a welcoming diner on friday evening, offered to every exhibitors. That's a good occasion to meet the entire team.
And of course, you will find the "RICHEMENT BIERE' s" stands where you could find the 2008 vintage of the beer Richement Bière, brewed this year by Les Brasseurs de Lorraine; and the collector glass "Richement Bière 2008 " . Of more, an original beer realized by the traditional brewery "La Saint-Monon" (Ambly) will be able to be tasted at the level of our bars.
